TOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please Read Carefully

How to make your Reservation:
You may contact us directly by phone, fax or e-mail.

Custom designed Tours and Itineraries:
As many people use custom itineraries to get price comparisons from different companies and as it takes time and labor to design and price a customized tour, any request that cannot be adapted with minor changes from our current packages will require an administration fee of $50 US. This fee will be credited to the deposit should the Tour be booked with us. 

Deposits:
A non-refundable deposit of $200 US per person payable to A-Z Tours International is required at the time of booking to confirm and guarantee your tour booking. 

Deposits may be made by US Money Order, Wire Transfer direct to our bank, Certified Check in US funds, US Travelers Checks, or by Certified Credit Card Check.  Credit Cards may be used if necessary for deposit however the other options are preferred.

If paying by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) we will e-mail or fax you a letter of authorization for you to sign and return by fax. The signed copy will act as your receipt. 

Group bookings will require a $500 US non-refundable booking fee and 10% of the total Group Price as a deposit payable 120 days prior to departure. These fees are credited to the total group tour cost.

Tour Revision Fees: 
An administration fee of $25 US per person per change will be charged for any alterations, changes or revisions to a reservation once booked. 

Final Payments:
The balance of payment is required 60 days in advance of departure, and can be paid by US Money Order,  direct Wire Transfer to our bank, a Certified Check in US Funds, US Travelers Checks, or by Certified Credit Card Check. 

If the Tour is booked within a 60 day period prior to departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. No client will be accepted on a tour unless the Tour is fully prepaid. 

(Please note because of currency deviations and exchange fees we can only accept credit card payments by charging an administration fee based on current rates of 3 to 5%. Acceptance of credit cards for full payments are at the discretion of the A-Z Tours.)

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation refunds are only permitted for documented medical reasons of yourself or your traveling companion:
Cancellation/Medical insurance is highly recommended.

A:  More than 60 days prior to departure the deposit will be retained.
B:  60-21 days prior to your departure date 50% of the total price will be retained.
C:  21days prior to departure to departure date and on tour 100% of total price will be retained.

The total price of the tour includes the cost of all services being arranged on behalf of the client and as listed in the itinerary. 

If the company should cancel the tour for any reason a full refund or credit for a further tour will be offered.

Flight Changes and Alterations are subject to the terms, rules and conditions applied by the booking agency or airline at the time of booking. Any changes or refund requests for airfares should be directed to the airline ticketing agency number on the ticket folder.

Daytrips - Separate payment and refund policy :
Full payment is required at the time of booking for any daytrips that are booked independently of a full tour package. 
i.e. Daytrip from Cruiseship Alexandria to Cairo. 
As the money is forwarded immediately to suppliers for these trips the refund policy is as follows:
Cancellations prior to 30 days before departure 50% refund.
Cancellations 30 - 0 days before departure - no refunds are applicable.

Passports and Visas:
A valid passport will be required for all tour departures overseas. As Visa requirements change regularly depending on the country visited please phone the nearest Embassy or Consulate of the country you will be traveling to for up-to-date details. Several countries including Egypt and Jordan will allow most nationalities to obtain a Visa upon arrival, please check to see if this applies to your country of origin. Many countries require that you have a minimum of 3 months left on your passport, before expiry after your planned departure date from that Country.

Tour Prices:
All our Tour Prices are per person based on two persons sharing one room. Single/Triple/ Quad prices are as stated or as negotiated at the time of pricing the Tour. 

As prices are based on exchange rates and supplier quotes at the time of putting the Tours together, prices are subject to change without notice. The prices shown for the Tours displayed on our website may vary depending on the season, holiday periods, market conditions and other controlling factors and cannot be guaranteed until the tour is booked and confirmed with a deposit.

If tours are adapted or customized as private tours for individuals or groups the pricing is quoted based on the final itinerary as agreed by both parties.

Membership:
In order to ensure congeniality and an enjoyable Tour for all participants we reserve the right to accept or reject any person as a Tour participant, and to expel from any Tour any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interest of the Tour members.

Travelers Needing Special Assistance:
Any disability or requests requiring special attention must be reported to A-Z Tours at the time of booking. A-Z Tours will make reasonable attempts to accommodate any special needs of disabled tour members, but we are not responsible in the event we are unable to do so. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the inability to provide or the denial of services by any of our suppliers to accommodate any special needs.

We regret we cannot be responsible for providing individual assistance. If anyone traveling should need any kind of individual or physical assistance they must be accompanied by a qualified companion.

Medical Conditions:
Please note it is essential that you notify us on booking of any medical conditions that could affect you during the trip i.e Diabetes where you require regular meals.  This is important to ensure your comfort as some of the journeys have long drives with few facilities for meals enroute. We take no responsibility for your medical conditions, however should you require assistance during your tour please contact the contacts numbers given to you for your program and they will do their best to accommodate any requests to make you comfortable, and will assist in getting you to a clinic/hospital if required.

Young Tour participants:
Tour Participants who are less than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Some discounts may apply depending on the age of the children and the supplier policies, but cannot be guaranteed. If the child qualifies to stay in a room free with the parent, the parent is responsible for any additional charges incurred for food, cot or other services provided.

The parent or accompanying adult is responsible for the behavior of the child throughout the Tour.

Smoking:
Tour Participants must abide by the rules in place in the countries traveled to. Smoking is prohibited on any public ground transportation or in the private vehicles supplied for tours. 

Itinerary Variations:
If unforeseen conditions, beyond our control, necessitate changes we reserve the right to vary itineraries and substitute the best alternatives available.

Baggage:
Porterage for one suitcase is included in the tour price. No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to baggage or any of the passengers belongings. Baggage insurance is recommended.

Options and Add-ons during the Tour:
There may be a variety of options available during the tours. Any additional programs you participate in must be prepaid to the guide/escort prior to departure for the option chosen.

Service Inquiries:
If you have a problem with any of the Tour Services provided it should be brought to the immediate attention of our representative or the company directly whilst on the Tour. We will then attempt to rectify the situation immediately. Upon return it is almost impossible to correct a situation that could have been corrected during the Tour.

Please note that if you choose not to or are not able for any reason to participate in any part of the program once on the tour there will be NO refund for these services, as they are prepaid based on the number participating. (Note: If you miss part of the tour due to medical reasons your Insurance should cover this portion if prepurchased.)

Responsibility:
A-Z Tours International acts only as an agent for the owners and contractors providing transportation, hotel or other services and therefore shall not be liable for or responsible in any way in connection with any loss, damage, injury, delay or accident due to the default on the part of any company engaged in any of these tours. 

We reserve the right to withdraw the tours outlined or any part thereof. To adapt or change itineraries if circumstances warrant it and to make alterations as deemed necessary. 

Neither the company nor any affiliate shall in any case be liable for other than compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to punitive damages.

No person, other than an authorized representative of the Company, by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add or waive any term or condition in this document.
